Gwernyfed Wood is sourced solely from this woodland, we harvest the wood under our sustainable woodland management scheme, transport it to our yard, only 1 mile away where it is processed into logs and then kiln dried in our own biomass kiln to a moisture content of under 20%. Kiln drying ensures that you can be assured of the highest quality product - guaranteed to be under 20% average moisture content.The weight is approximate and can vary between 12-15kg as can the number of logs dependent upon the species, density and exact moisture content of our logs.The volume of logs will however always be the same 40 litres
